January 29th MAC Workshop: Adults on the Autism Spectrum Share Their Museum Experiences

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 4–6pm

We welcome representatives from the museum and disability communities to join the Museum Access Consortium and GRASP for this facilitated conversation with adults who are themselves diagnosed with autism about their experiences of visiting cultural sites, and volunteering and working at them. Michael John Carley, Executive Director of GRASP, will lead a panel discussion, followed by a question and answer period. Attendees will be encouraged to submit questions at the time of registration, as well as at the event itself. This workshop is hosted by the Museum Access Consortium (MAC) and MoMA in partnership with GRASP. Special thanks to The FAR Fund for their generous support of this workshop series. Location: The theater at MoMA's Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building, located at 4 West 54th Street, New York, NY.
