Jonathan Marin selected by NYN Media for their 3rd annual 40 Under 40 Award!

Every year, New York Nonprofit Media recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40, who have made great strides in their career and hold the promise of a bright future. This year they have selected our very own Jonathan Marin! The Class of 2017 Rising Stars was profiled in a print journal and recognized at a breakfast awards ceremony at the Capital Grill in Manhattan.

New Vocational Team

City Access New York is honored to introduce our new vocational team.  Welcome Alsanne Ivery, our new vocational coordinator, and Shakenna Stephens, the new job coach.

Holly Bonner – Blind Motherhood and NYS Vision Rehabilitation and Employment Institute.

A big thanks goes to Holly Bonner, the creator of and an inspiring advocate for the visually impaired community, who went out to Albany this month to meet with the NYS Commission for the blind.  As part of her presentation, Holly mentioned City Access New York and the urgency to fund Employment Programs that hold the visually impaired to a higher standard.
